एतेन विधिना पत्नीमुपगच्छेत पण्डित: । ज्ञातिसम्बन्धिमित्राणि पूजनीयानि सर्वश:,इसी विधिसे विद्वान् पुरुष पत्नीके साथ समागम करे। भाई-बन्धु, सम्बन्धी और मित्र --इन सबका सब प्रकारसे आदर करना चाहिये
etena vidhinā patnīm upagacchet paṇḍitaḥ | jñāti-sambandhi-mitrāṇi pūjanīyāni sarvaśaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Theo phép tắc đã định ấy, người trí nên đến với vợ mình trong đạo nghĩa phu thê. Và trong mọi cách, hãy bày tỏ sự kính trọng xứng đáng đối với bà con ruột thịt, thông gia, và bạn hữu.”
