Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
न हीदृशमनायुष्यं लोके किंचन विद्यते । यादृशं पुरुषस्येह परदारोपसेवनम्
na hīdṛśam anāyuṣyaṁ loke kiṁcana vidyate | yādṛśaṁ puruṣasyeha paradāropasevanam ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Trong đời này, không có điều gì hủy hoại thọ mệnh bằng việc tư thông với vợ người. Đối với một người đàn ông ở cõi thế, không có hành vi nào rút ngắn đời sống chắc chắn như sự theo đuổi và hưởng lạc với phối ngẫu của kẻ khác.”
