Tapas-śreṣṭhatā: Anāśana as the Highest Austerity

इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अंतर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें हस्तिकूट नामक एक सौ दोवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata anuśāsana-parva-ke antargata dāna-dharma-parva-meṃ hastikūṭa nāmaka eka-śata-dvitīyo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Như vậy, chương thứ một trăm lẻ hai, mang tên “Hastikūṭa”, thuộc phần Dāna-dharma (đạo lý của bố thí) trong Anuśāsana Parva của bộ Mahābhārata tôn kính, đã được kết thúc. Đây là lời khép lại của một cuộc luận bàn xoay quanh đạo đức của sự cho đi và hạnh kiểm chính trực.
