Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
सदा यज्ञेन देवाश्व सदा55तिथ्येन मानुषा: । छन््दतश्न यथा नित्यमर्हान् भुञज्जीत नित्यश:
sadā yajñena devāś ca sadātithyena mānuṣāḥ | chandasā ca yathā nityam arhān bhuñjīta nityaśaḥ ||
Vāyu nói: “Mỗi ngày phải tôn kính chư thiên bằng tế lễ, và tôn kính con người bằng việc tiếp đãi khách. Cũng vậy, nhờ tụng đọc và học tập thường xuyên các thánh ca Veda, phải kính lễ những bậc đáng kính—nhất là các bậc hiền triết tôn quý. Chỉ sau khi làm trọn những việc hằng ngày ấy, mới nên dùng bữa mỗi ngày.”
