Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
इस प्रकार बलि समर्पण करके ब्राह्मणको विधिपूर्वक भिक्षा दे। यदि ब्राह्मण न मिले तो अन्नमेंसे थोड़ा-सा अग्रग्रास निकालकर उसका अग्निमें होम कर दे ।।
yadā śrāddhaṃ pitṛbhyo 'pi dātum icchet mānavaḥ | tadā paścāt prakurvīta nivṛtte śrāddhakarmaṇi ||
Như vậy, sau khi dâng bali, hãy bố thí cho Bà-la-môn đúng nghi thức. Nếu không gặp Bà-la-môn, hãy lấy một chút “miếng đầu” từ thức ăn và làm lễ homa vào lửa. Và khi con người cũng muốn dâng śrāddha cho các Pitṛs (tổ tiên), thì chỉ nên làm sau đó—khi nghi lễ śrāddha chính đã được hoàn tất.
