उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

एतत्‌ ते सर्वमाख्यातमुपदेशकृते मया । महान्‌ क्लेशो हि भवति तस्मान्नोपदिशेदिह

Transliteration

etad te sarvam ākhyātam upadeśa-kṛte mayā | mahān kleśo hi bhavati tasmān nopadiśed iha ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Ta đã thuật rõ tất cả điều ấy cho ngươi vì mục đích giáo huấn. Bởi nỗi khổ lớn phát sinh khi đem lời dạy trao cho kẻ không xứng đáng; vì thế, chớ ở đây mà tùy tiện ban lời chỉ giáo.”
