वक्तव्यमिह पृष्टेन विनिश्ित्य विनिश्चयम्‌ | स चोपदेश: कर्तव्यो येन धर्ममवाप्रुयात्‌

Transliteration

vaktavyam iha pṛṣṭena viniścitya viniścayam | sa copadeśaḥ kartavyo yena dharmam avāpnuyāt |

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Khi được hỏi, hãy chỉ nói sau khi đã cân nhắc kỹ, và nêu đúng kết luận đã được xác lập của các śāstra. Và lời giáo huấn được trao phải là lời dẫn người hỏi đến chỗ đạt được dharma.
