उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel
सांख्ये चैव परा प्रीतिस्तस्य चैवं व्यवर्धत । वे ऋषि वेद और अथर्ववेदके परिनिष्छित विद्वान् हो गये। कल्पप्रयोग और ज्योतिषयमें भी पारंगत हुए। सांख्यमें भी उनका परम अनुराग बढ़ने लगा
sāṅkhye caiva parā prītis tasya caivaṃ vyavardhata |
Bhīṣma nói: “Ngay trong Sāṅkhya, niềm hoan hỷ tối thượng của người ấy cũng khởi lên, và cứ thế mà tăng trưởng.” Người ấy đã trở thành bậc học giả thông đạt, quyết trạch rành rẽ về Veda và Atharvaveda; lại tinh thông cả Kalpa (nghi lễ) và Jyotiṣa (thiên văn–chiêm tinh). Vì vậy, lòng mộ đạo đối với Sāṅkhya nơi người ấy càng ngày càng sâu đậm.
