Kaca–Devayānī Dialogue and the Curse on Vidyā
कृतकार्या ततस्तूर्णमगच्छच्छक्रसंसदम् | त॑ं वने विजने गर्भ सिंहव्याप्रसमाकुले
kṛtakāryā tatas tūrṇam agacchac chakrasaṃsadam | taṃ vane vijane garbha siṃhavyāghrasamākule
Khi đã hoàn tất mục đích của mình, nàng vội vã rời đi đến hội chúng của Śakra (Indra). Trong khu rừng hoang vắng, biệt lập ấy—nơi người mang thai bị bỏ lại giữa miền đất sư tử và hổ thường lui tới—Kaṇva đã khắc họa bối cảnh hiểm nguy, làm nền cho trách nhiệm đạo lý về che chở và chăm nom sắp được nêu ra.
