शयनं तत्र संक्लृप्तं स्पर्थ्यास्तरणसंवृतम् । तत्र भार्यासहायो वै जरत्कारुरुवास ह,वहाँ बहुमूल्य बिछौनोंसे सजी हुई शय्या बिछी थी। जरत्कारु मुनि अपनी पत्नीके साथ उसी भवनमें रहने लगे
śayanaṁ tatra saṁklṛptaṁ sparthyāstaraṇa-saṁvṛtam | tatra bhāryā-sahāyo vai jaratkārur uvāsa ha ||
