Jaratkāru’s Marital Compact and Departure (जरत्कारु–जरत्कारुणी संवादः)

विद्याबलं पन्नगेन्द्र पश्य मेउद्य वनस्पतौ । अहं संजीवयाम्येनं पश्यतस्ते भुजड्रम,“नागराज! इस वनस्पतिपर आज मेरी विद्याका बल देखो। भुजंगम! मैं तुम्हारे देखते- देखते इस वृक्षको जीवित कर देता हूँ

Kaśyapa uvāca: vidyābalaṃ pannagendra paśya me ’dya vanaspatौ | ahaṃ saṃjīvayāmy enaṃ paśyatas te bhujaṅgama ||

Kāśyapa nói: “Hỡi chúa tể loài rắn, hãy xem hôm nay sức mạnh của minh tri thức thiêng liêng của ta trên cây này. Hỡi rắn, ngay trước mắt ngươi, ta sẽ khiến cây này sống lại.”
