Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

dharmarāje hṛtiprītyā pūrṇacandra ivāmale |

prājānāṃ remire tulyaṃ netrāṇi hṛdayāni ca ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Vì lòng thương kính tận đáy tim dành cho Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira)—trong sạch và làm người vui lòng như vầng trăng tròn không tì vết—mỗi khi thần dân trông thấy ngài, mắt và lòng họ cùng một lúc hân hoan. Chỉ riêng sự hiện diện của ngài đã đem lại niềm vui chung, tự nhiên, như thể chính Dharma (Chánh pháp) đã hiển lộ trong hình hài một vị vua.
