समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
पत्तिं तु त्रिगुणामेतामाहु: सेनामुखं बुधा: । त्रीणि सेनामुखान्येको गुल्म इत्यभिधीयते,इसी पत्तिकी तिगुनी संख्याको विद्वान् पुरुष 'सेनामुख” कहते हैं। तीन 'सेनामुखों” को एक “गुल्म” कहा जाता है
pattiṁ tu triguṇām etām āhuḥ senāmukhaṁ budhāḥ | trīṇi senāmukhāny eko gulma ity abhidhīyate ||
Bậc hiền trí nói rằng: “Đơn vị patti ấy, lấy gấp ba, gọi là ‘senāmukha’—mũi quân, đội tiên phong. Và ba senāmukha hợp lại được định danh là một ‘gulma’, một phân đội chiến thuật lớn hơn.”
