बकवधोत्तर-प्रशमनम् | Post-slaying Stabilization after Baka’s Death
हृष्टो मानुषमांसस्थ महाकायो महाबल: । आध्राय मानुषं गन्धं भगिनीमिदमब्रवीत्,मनुष्यका मांस मिलनेकी सम्भावनासे उसे बड़ा हर्ष हुआ। उस महाबली विशालकाय राक्षसने मनुष्यकी गन्ध पाकर अपनी बहिनसे इस प्रकार कहा--
hṛṣṭo mānuṣa-māṁsa-stha mahākāyo mahābalaḥ | āghrāya mānuṣaṁ gandhaṁ bhaginīm idam abravīt ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Mừng rỡ trước viễn cảnh được ăn thịt người, con rākṣasa lực lưỡng, thân hình khổng lồ ấy, sau khi ngửi thấy mùi người, liền nói với em gái mình như sau.
