ततस्ते सहिता: सर्वे जलक्रीडामकुर्वत । पाण्डवा धार्तराष्ट्रश्न तदा मुदितमानसा:,तब भोजनके पश्चात् पाण्डव तथा धुतराष्ट्रके पुत्र सभी प्रसन्नचित्त हो एक साथ जलक्रीड़ा करने लगे
tataste sahitāḥ sarve jalakrīḍām akurvata | pāṇḍavā dhārtarāṣṭrāś ca tadā muditamānasāḥ ||
Rồi tất cả bọn họ—cả các Pāṇḍava lẫn những con trai của Dhṛtarāṣṭra—lòng vui rạng rỡ, cùng nhau xuống nước vui đùa. Cảnh ấy gợi một khoảnh khắc thân tình và hồn nhiên, trước khi những hiềm khích về sau trở nên cứng lạnh thành xung đột.
