The verse primarily conveys auspicious order and cultivated beauty: when a place is prepared in harmony with nature’s seasons, it becomes fit for dignified assembly and right conduct in public life. The ethical undertone is refinement and propriety—creating a setting that supports calm, respectful social interaction.
The narrator describes a splendidly prepared garden or pleasure-ground: the water surfaces are covered with blooming lotuses, and the land is strewn with seasonally fallen flowers, emphasizing the festive readiness and grandeur of the setting.
