Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)

प्रहारवेगाभिहता द्रुमा व्याघूर्णितास्तत: । सफलाः: प्रपतन्ति स्म द्रुतं त्रस्ता: कुमारका:

prahāravegābhihatā drumā vyāghūrṇitās tataḥ | saphalāḥ prapatanti sma drutaṁ trastāḥ kumārakāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Bị đánh bởi sức mạnh của những cú đá, các cây bắt đầu đung đưa dữ dội. Rồi các vương tử—kinh hãi—rơi xuống thật nhanh cùng với trái cây. Cảnh ấy cho thấy sự hung hăng liều lĩnh và lối hăm dọa có thể biến cả trò chơi hay sự phô diễn sức mạnh thành tai họa, bộc lộ nỗi sợ và sự chao đảo chứ không phải dũng khí chân chính.
