Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

जनासक्ता बभूवुस्ता विनिन्द्य पतिदेवताः अद्यापि गौरवात्तस्य नारदस्य कलौ मुनेः

janāsaktā babhūvustā vinindya patidevatāḥ adyāpi gauravāttasya nāradasya kalau muneḥ

Những người nữ ấy, bị quở trách vì khinh mạn chồng—đấng đáng tôn kính như chủ tể của mình—đã trở nên vướng mắc vào người đời và thế tục. Dẫu vậy, trong thời Kali, vì lòng tôn kính đối với hiền giả Nārada, chân lý này vẫn được ghi nhớ và truyền dạy.
