तयोः समभवद् युद्धं सुघोरं रोमहर्षणम् / शूलेनोरसि तं दैत्यमाजघान वृषध्वजः

Giữa hai bên bùng lên một trận chiến cực kỳ ghê rợn, khiến tóc gáy dựng đứng. Rồi Vṛṣadhvaja (Śiva) dùng cây tam trượng đánh mạnh Daitya ấy ngay giữa ngực.
