Haristuti-saṅgraha: Devatā–Ṛṣi Praṇāma, Nāma-māhātmya, and Vairāgya from Deha-āsakti
tasmai sadā bhagavate praṇamāmi nityaṃ niṣkāmayā tava samarpaṇamātravuddhyā / vaikuṇṭhanātha bhagavanstavane na śaktiḥ sohaṃ pulasatyasadṛśosmi na saṃśayotra
Vì thế, con luôn luôn và mãi mãi đảnh lễ Đức Bhagavān ấy, với tâm vô dục, chỉ nghĩ đến việc hiến dâng chính mình lên Ngài. Ôi Chúa tể Vaikuṇṭha—hỡi Bhagavān—con không đủ năng lực để tán thán Ngài; tuy vậy, con giống như Pulastya, điều ấy không hề nghi ngờ.

Concept: Niṣkāma-pranāma and self-offering (ātma-samarpaṇa) as sufficient devotion even when eloquent praise is impossible.
Vedantic Theme: Śaraṇāgati and ananya-bhakti; the Lord’s greatness exceeds speech (yato vāco nivartante motif).
Application: Cultivate daily bowing and mental offering without bargaining for results; replace performance-anxiety in worship with sincerity and surrender.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
Type: divine abode
Related Themes: Garuda Purana (Pretakalpa/Upadeśa sections): emphasis on Viṣṇu-nāma and śaraṇāgati as deliverance at death; Garuda Purana: recurring trope of sages sequentially praising the Lord
This verse frames devotion as offering oneself to Vishnu without personal gain—pure surrender (samarpaṇa) rather than transactional worship.
Garuda emphasizes humility: even if one lacks the power to adequately praise God, sincere reverence and self-offering are presented as the essential approach.
Practice prayer or ritual with a clear intention of ethical living and inner surrender—reduce self-serving motives, and cultivate humility in spiritual study and worship.
