Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
दितिरुत्थाय ददृशे कुमाराननलप्रभान् । इन्द्रेण सहितान् देवी पर्यतुष्यदनिन्दिता ॥ ६८ ॥
ditir utthāya dadṛśe kumārān anala-prabhān indreṇa sahitān devī paryatuṣyad aninditā
Nhờ thờ phụng Đấng Tối Thượng, Diti được thanh tịnh hoàn toàn. Khi rời giường, bà thấy bốn mươi chín người con trai của mình ở cùng Indra. Tất cả đều rực sáng như lửa và kết tình bằng hữu với Indra; vì thế vị nữ thần không tì vết vô cùng hoan hỷ.
