विद्वेषनष्टमतय: स्त्रियो दारुणचेतस: । गरं ददु: कुमाराय दुर्मर्षा नृपतिं प्रति ॥ ४३ ॥

Transliteration

vidveṣa-naṣṭa-matayaḥ striyo dāruṇa-cetasaḥ garaṁ daduḥ kumārāya durmarṣā nṛpatiṁ prati

Translation

Khi lòng oán ghét tăng lên, trí tuệ họ tiêu tan. Cứng lòng và không chịu nổi sự hờ hững của nhà vua, cuối cùng họ đã cho hoàng tử uống thuốc độc.
