Prahlāda’s Prayers Pacify Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva
Prahlāda-stuti and the Lord’s Benediction Offer
मामप्रीणत आयुष्मन्दर्शनं दुर्लभं हि मे । दृष्ट्वा मां न पुनर्जन्तुरात्मानं तप्तुमर्हति ॥ ५३ ॥
mām aprīṇata āyuṣman darśanaṁ durlabhaṁ hi me dṛṣṭvā māṁ na punar jantur ātmānaṁ taptum arhati
Hỡi Prahlāda, con hãy sống lâu. Không làm Ta hoan hỷ thì chẳng ai hiểu Ta đúng thật; người đã được thấy Ta hay làm Ta hài lòng sẽ không còn than sầu vì sự thỏa mãn riêng mình nữa.
One cannot be happy under any circumstances unless one pleases the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but one who has learned how to please the Supreme Lord need no longer lament for his material condition.
