साक्षात् श्री: प्रेषिता देवैर्द‍ृष्ट्वा तं महदद्भ‍ुतम् । अदृष्टाश्रुतपूर्वत्वात् सा नोपेयाय शङ्किता ॥ २ ॥

Transliteration

sākṣāt śrīḥ preṣitā devair dṛṣṭvā taṁ mahad adbhutam adṛṣṭāśruta-pūrvatvāt sā nopeyāya śaṅkitā

Translation

Chư thiên thỉnh cầu chính Lakṣmījī tiến đến trước mặt Chúa vì họ sợ hãi không dám. Nhưng ngay cả Nữ Thần Tài Lộc, khi thấy hình tướng vĩ đại và kỳ diệu ấy—chưa từng thấy hay nghe bao giờ—cũng sinh do dự và không thể đến gần Ngài.

Purport

The Lord has unlimited forms and bodily features ( advaitam acyutam anādim ananta-rūpam ). These are all situated in Vaikuṇṭha, yet Lakṣmīdevī, the goddess of fortune, being inspired by līlā-śakti, could not appreciate this unprecedented form of the Lord. In this regard, Śrīla Madhvācārya recites the following verses from the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa:
