The Disappearance of the Yadu Dynasty and Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Departure
युयुधु: क्रोधसंरब्धा वेलायामाततायिन: । धनुर्भिरसिभिर्भल्लैर्गदाभिस्तोमरर्ष्टिभि: ॥ १४ ॥
yuyudhuḥ krodha-saṁrabdhā velāyām ātatāyinaḥ dhanurbhir asibhir bhallair gadābhis tomararṣṭibhiḥ
Bừng bừng phẫn nộ, trên bờ biển họ lao vào tấn công nhau; cầm cung tên, kiếm, bhalla, chùy, lao phóng và giáo, họ giao chiến lẫn nhau.
This verse shows how anger (krodha) can overwhelm good sense and turn even noble people into violent aggressors, resulting in mutual ruin.
In the narrative of Chapter 30, by the Lord’s arrangement the Yadavas became overcome by anger and fate, and at the seashore they began a fratricidal battle with weapons.
It warns that uncontrolled anger escalates conflict quickly; cultivating restraint, humility, and devotion helps prevent relationships and communities from collapsing into needless quarrel.
