Balarāma Slays Balvala and Visits Sacred Tīrthas; He Attempts to Stop Bhīma–Duryodhana

Śrīla Prabhupāda writes: “Lord Balarāma is the original Viṣṇu; therefore anyone remembering these pastimes of Lord Balarāma in the morning and evening will certainly become a great devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and thus his life will become successful in all respects.”
This verse says that one who regularly remembers Rāma (Balarāma) and His wondrous deeds—especially morning and evening—becomes dear to Ananta, Lord Viṣṇu.
Śukadeva emphasizes a simple daily sādhana: anchoring the day’s beginning and end in smaraṇa (devotional remembrance), which steadily deepens devotion and pleases the Lord.
Set a brief morning and evening routine—read or listen to a short Balarāma pastime, chant, and mentally recall His qualities—making remembrance a consistent daily habit.
