Uddhava’s Counsel: The Jarāsandha Resolution and Kṛṣṇa’s Arrival at Indraprastha
This translation is taken from Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Kṛṣṇa.
This verse shows Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira joyfully arranging comfortable residence and continually excellent hospitality for Śrī Kṛṣṇa and His entourage, presenting ideal atithi-seva as devotional service.
Because Kṛṣṇa is Janārdana, the Supreme Lord, and Yudhiṣṭhira—being devoted and dharmic—considered it his highest duty and joy to serve Him and His associates with the best arrangements.
Serve devotees and guests with sincere care—offering comfort, respect, and practical help—while cultivating the attitude that such hospitality is service to the Lord.
