tān asyataḥ śara-vrātān bandhu-priya-kṛd arjunaḥ gāṇḍīvī kālayām āsa siṁhaḥ kṣudra-mṛgān iva

Translation

Arjuna, người cầm cung Gāṇḍīva, luôn khát khao làm đẹp lòng bạn hiền Kṛṣṇa, đã đẩy lùi những kẻ đang mưa tên, như sư tử xua đuổi loài thú nhỏ bé.
