Kṛṣṇa Enters Mathurā: City Splendor, Devotees’ Reception, and the Washerman’s Fate
सोऽपि चान्तर्हितं वीक्ष्य जलादुन्मज्य सत्वर: । कृत्वा चावश्यकं सर्वं विस्मितो रथमागमत् ॥ २ ॥
so ’pi cāntarhitaṁ vīkṣya jalād unmajya satvaraḥ kṛtvā cāvaśyakaṁ sarvaṁ vismito ratham āgamat
Thấy thị kiến ấy biến mất, Akrūra liền trồi lên khỏi nước, mau chóng hoàn tất các nghi lễ cần thiết, rồi kinh ngạc trở về cỗ xe.
He sees that the divine vision is no longer visible, quickly comes out of the water, completes his obligatory rites, and returns to his chariot in amazement.
Because he has just witnessed a profound divine manifestation, and when it disappears he is left overwhelmed by wonder at Kṛṣṇa’s transcendental power.
Even after spiritual highs, a devotee remains grounded—continuing prescribed duties with humility, steadiness, and remembrance of the Lord.
