न वि जानामि यदिवेदमस्मि निण्यः संनद्धो मनसा चरामि । यदा मागन् प्रथमजा ऋतस्यादिद् वाचो अश्नुवे भागमस्याः

IAST Transliteration

ná ví jānāmi yádīvé́dam ásmi ninýāḥ sánnaddho mánasā cárāmi | yadā́ mā́gān prathamajā́ ṛtásyā́did vā́co aśnuvé bhāgám asyā́ḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

I know not clearly whether I be even this: hidden, close-bound, I wander with the mind. When to me came the first-born of ṛta, then verily I attained a portion of this Speech.

Translation

Ta không biết rõ: liệu ta có thật là như thế chăng; ẩn kín, bị ràng buộc chặt, ta lang thang cùng tâm (manas). Khi đấng đầu sinh của ṛta (trật tự chân chính) đến với ta, thì quả thật ta đạt được một phần của Lời—Vāc—này.
