उग्रंपश्ये राष्ट्रभृत् किल्बिषाणि यदक्षवृत्तमनु दत्तं न एतत्। ऋणान्नो नर्णमेर्त्समानो यमस्य लोके अधिरज्जुरायत्
ugrámpaśye rā́ṣṭrabhṛt kilbíṣāṇi yád ákṣavṛttám ánu dattaṃ na etát | ṛṇā́n no nṛ́ṇam értsamāno yamásya lóke ádhi rajjúḥ ā́yat
O Ugrampaśyā, supporter of the realm: the offences—this which, as dice-practice, hath been given to follow upon us—he, seeking to reach men, from our debt, in Yama’s world, hath stretched the rope above (us).
Ta thấy ‘Ugrampaśyā’, đấng nâng đỡ vương quốc: những tội lỗi—chính điều này, được trao để bám theo chúng ta như thói quen gieo xúc xắc—nó tìm cách chạm tới loài người, đẩy chúng ta vào món nợ; trong cõi của Yama, nó đã giăng sợi dây ở phía trên (chúng ta).
