Sukta 34
यं स्मा पृच्छन्ति कुह सेति घोरमुतेमाहुर्नैषो अस्तीत्येनम्। सो अर्यः पुष्टीर्विज इवा मिनाति श्रदस्मै धत्त स जनास इन्द्रः
yáṃ smā́ pṛcchánti kúha séti ghóram utémā́hur náiṣó astī́ty énām | só aryáḥ púṣṭīr víja ivā́ mināti śrád asmai dhatta sá janāsa índraḥ́
Whom men, in sooth, ask of—‘Where is he?’—the dreadful one; and of this very one they say, ‘He is not,’—of him: that noble Lord abateth prosperities, as ’twere, of the folk. Set ye your faith in him: he, O peoples, is Indra.
Người đời quả thật hỏi về Đấng đáng sợ ấy: “Ngài ở đâu?” Lại còn nói chính về Ngài: “Ngài không hiện hữu.” — Nhưng chính Ngài ấy là bậc Chúa tể cao quý, như thể làm suy giảm phúc lộc và thịnh vượng của muôn dân. Hỡi các dân, hãy đặt lòng tin nơi Ngài; Ngài ấy chính là Indra.
