त्वं हि नः पिता वसो त्वं माता शतक्रतो बभूविथ । अधा ते सुम्नमीमहे

IAST Transliteration

tváṃ hí naḥ pitā́ vaso tváṃ mātā́ śatakrato babhū́vitha | ádhā te sumnám īmahe

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

For thou, O bounteous one, hast been our Father; thou our Mother, O Hundred-powered: therefore we crave of thee thy gracious favor.

Translation

Hỡi Đấng rộng ban, chính Ngài là Cha của chúng con; hỡi Đấng trăm quyền lực (Śatakratu), Ngài cũng đã là Mẹ của chúng con. Vì thế, chúng con khẩn cầu nơi Ngài ân huệ cát tường (sumna).
