एवा महान् बृहद्दिवो अथर्वावोचत् स्वां तन्व१मिन्द्रमेव। स्वसारौ मातरिभ्वरी अरिप्रे हिन्वन्ति चैने शवसा वर्धयन्ति च

IAST Transliteration

evá mahā́n bṛhád-divó athárvā́vocat svā́ṃ tanvàm índram evá | svásārau mātáribhvarī arí-pre hínvanti cainaṃ śávasā vardháyanti ca ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thus spake Atharvan of the wide heaven, making Indra great in his own embodied might. The two Sister-powers, mother-moving, in the press of foes, impel him, and with force they strengthen him.

Translation

Như vậy Atharvan của bầu trời rộng lớn đã nói: làm cho Indra trở nên vĩ đại trong chính sức lực mang thân của mình. Hai quyền năng chị em, những kẻ làm mẹ chuyển động (mātaribhvarī), giữa lúc kẻ thù ép bức, thúc giục người, và bằng uy lực làm người tăng trưởng, thêm vững mạnh.
