आयुषायुःकृतां जीवायुष्मान् जीव मा मृथाः । प्राणेनात्मन्वतां जीव मा मृत्योरुदगा वशम्

IAST Transliteration

ā́yuṣā́yuḥ-kṛtāṃ jīvá́yuṣmān jīva mā́ mṛthāḥ | prā́ṇenātmán-vatāṃ jīva mā́ mṛtyór úd agā́ vaśám |

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

With Life’s own power, life-fashioning, live on, long-lived; live, and die thou not. By Breath, among the self-possessed, live on; go not up into Death’s subjection.

Translation

Bằng chính năng lực của Sự sống—năng lực tạo tác sự sống—hãy sống, sống lâu; hãy sống, chớ chết. Nhờ Hơi thở (Prāṇa), giữa những người tự chủ, hãy sống; chớ bước lên để rơi vào quyền lực của Tử thần.
