इन्द्रं वयमनूराधं हवामहेऽनु राध्यास्म द्विपदा चतुष्पदा । मा नः सेना अररुषीरुप गुर्विषूचीरिन्द्र द्रुहो वि नाशय
índraṃ vayám anūrādháṃ havāmahe’nu rā́dhyāsma dvipádā́ cátuṣpadā | mā naḥ sénā aráruṣīr úpa gúr víṣūcīr índra drúho ví nāśaya
Indra, the furtherer of success, we call upon: may we attain success—both two-footed and four-footed. Let no raging army, heavy and scattering its shafts, come near us. O Indra, make the treacheries perish away.
Chúng con khẩn cầu Indra, Đấng thúc đẩy thành tựu; nguyện chúng con đạt được thành tựu theo Ngài—cả loài hai chân lẫn loài bốn chân. Xin đừng để đạo quân cuồng nộ, nặng nề và bắn tên tản mác, tiến lại gần chúng con. Hỡi Indra, xin làm cho mọi mưu phản trắc, gian trá tiêu vong.
