Sukta 11
यथा वातो यथा मनो यथा पतन्ति पक्षिणः । एवा त्वं दशमास्य साकं जरायुणा पताव जरायु पद्यताम्
yáthā vā́to yáthā máno yáthā pátanti pakṣíṇaḥ | evā́ tváṃ daśamā́sya sā́kaṃ jarā́yuṇā pátā́va jarā́yu pádyatām ||
As the Wind, as Thought, as birds that wing their way and fly,—so, O ten-month child, do thou come forth together with the afterbirth: fly forth; and let the afterbirth descend.
Như gió, như ý nghĩ, như chim có cánh bay lượn—cũng vậy, hỡi đứa trẻ đủ mười tháng, hãy ra đời cùng với nhau thai (jarāyu); hãy bay ra; và cho nhau thai (jarāyu) ấy sa xuống.
