FAQs

It prescribes two practical ritual actions in a rāja-abhiṣeka context: performing a vahni-rakṣā (fire-ward/protection rite) for the assembled officiants and applying the previously stated rājaśrī-abhiṣeka mantras as part of the consecration procedure.

It illustrates the text’s procedural detail in statecraft-linked ritual: kingship is treated not only as political authority (rājadharma) but as a liturgically validated institution, integrating mantra, fire-rites, and assembly protocol into governance.

By ensuring proper fire-protection and correct mantra application, the rite is purified and safeguarded from ritual faults, supporting auspiciousness (śrī), legitimacy of consecration, and the welfare of both the king and participants.
