अथवार्कचतुर्विंशषड्त्रिंशन्मालिका द्विजः अनामामध्यमाङ्गुष्ठैर् मन्दाद्यैः मालिकार्थिभिः
athavārkacaturviṃśaṣaḍtriṃśanmālikā dvijaḥ anāmāmadhyamāṅguṣṭhair mandādyaiḥ mālikārthibhiḥ
Nay, hỡi bậc nhị sinh: thể Mālikā (chuỗi nhịp/thi luật) gồm các đơn vị hai mươi bốn và ba mươi sáu. Những ai cầu hiểu Mālikā thì nên nhận biết/thiết lập nó bằng các phép đo đếm bằng ngón tay, khởi từ manda v.v., dùng các ngón namā, madhyamā và aṅguṣṭha (ngón cái).
