FAQs

It teaches a precise Vishnu-puja step: face east, perform threefold meditation including heart-meditation, and then worship Vishnu in the consecrated kumbha using the vardhanī and the prescribed aṅga (auxiliary) rites.

By preserving a manual-like liturgical instruction—directionality (east-facing), inner visualization (hṛd-dhyāna), and ritual implements (kumbha, vardhanī)—it demonstrates the Agni Purana’s coverage of practical temple/household worship procedure alongside its many other disciplines.

The verse links outer rite (kumbha worship and aṅga-upacāras) with inner devotion (heart-meditation), implying purification and merit through correctly performed, internally grounded Vishnu worship.
