FAQs

It prescribes a specific offering protocol: invoke/consecrate with Vāsudeva and Saṅkarṣaṇa, then offer rice mixed with ghee into properly prepared milk—an exact naivedya/homa preparation step.

Beyond mythology, it records precise liturgical technique—ingredient-combination (rice+ghee), medium (milk), and mantra-deity sequencing—showing the text’s practical manual-like coverage of worship and ritual technology.

Performing offerings with correct mantra-visualization and purified substances is held to increase ritual efficacy, producing purification (śuddhi) and merit (puṇya) through properly consecrated devotional action.
