अन्तः स्थितानेकसुरारिसङ्घं विचित्रचर्मायुधचित्रशोभम् । भीमं बलं बलिनं चारुयोधं विनिर्ययौ सिन्धुजलाद् विशालम् ॥

antaḥ sthitānekasurārisaṅghaṃ vicitracarmāyudhacitraśobham | bhīmaṃ balaṃ balinaṃ cāruyodhaṃ viniryayau sindhujalād viśālam ||

سمندر کے وسیع پانیوں میں سے ایک ہیبت ناک اور نہایت عظیم لشکری قوت نمودار ہوئی؛ جس کے اندر دیوتاؤں کے دشمنوں کے جتھے تھے، رنگا رنگ زرہوں اور ہتھیاروں کی چمک سے آراستہ، طاقتور اور خوف انگیز، اور عمدہ جنگجوؤں سے بھرپور۔
