The Birth of Mahiṣāsura and the Goddess’s Victory as Mahīṣamardinī

शरणं त्वां प्रपद्यन्ते ये देवि परमेश्वरि । न तेषां जायते किञ्चिदशुभं रणसङ्कटे ॥

śaraṇaṃ tvāṃ prapadyante ye devi parameśvari | na teṣāṃ jāyate kiñcid aśubhaṃ raṇasaṅkaṭe ||

اے دیوی، اے پرمیشوری! جو لوگ تیری پناہ لیتے ہیں، جنگ کے خطرات میں اُن پر کوئی نحوست و بدشگونی واقع نہیں ہوتی۔
