असंख्यातानि हर्म्याणि तथा कन्या धराधरे । प्राधान्येन प्रवक्ष्यामि कन्यानामानि शोभने ॥

asaṃkhyātāni harmyāṇi tathā kanyā dharādhare | prādhānyena pravakṣyāmi kanyānāmāni śobhane ||

وہاں بے شمار عالی شان محل تھے، اور اسی طرح اس پہاڑ پر بہت سی کنواریاں بھی تھیں۔ اے حسین! میں اہمیت کے اعتبار سے ترتیب وار ان کنواریوں کے نام بیان کرتا ہوں۔
