व्याध उवाच । पश्यामि कीदृशास्ते हि गोधूमा व्रीहयो यवाः । स्वरूपेण च सन्त्येते येन वो वेद्मि सत्तम ॥ ८.२१ ॥

vyādha uvāca | paśyāmi kīdṛśās te hi godhūmā vrīhayo yavāḥ | svarūpeṇa ca santy ete yena vo vedmi sattama || 8.21 ||

شکاری نے کہا: میں دیکھ رہا ہوں کہ یہ گندم، چاول اور جو کس قسم کے ہیں۔ یہ اپنی اصل شکل میں موجود ہیں؛ اے بہترین ہستی، اسی شکل سے میں آپ کو پہچانتا ہوں۔
