It exemplifies Purāṇic vrata literature by pairing a calendrical rule (Ekādaśī; Mārgaśīrṣa bright fortnight; one-year duration) with a stated social aim—prosperity—reflecting how dharma texts integrated ritual timekeeping and household aspirations.
No specific geographic site is named in this verse; it is primarily calendrical (Ekādaśī; the month Mārgaśīrṣa) rather than place-centered.
To undertake a disciplined observance carefully and in accordance with prescribed procedure (yathāvidhi), emphasizing intentional practice and adherence to an established ritual-ethical framework.
