The Padmanābha Dvādaśī Observance, with the Eulogy of Lamp-Offering Merit

असुरं भावमास्थाय प्रह्लादः पुरुषोत्तमम् । मुक्त्वा चान्यं न जानाति तेनासौ साधुरुच्यते ॥ ४९.३३ ॥

asuraṃ bhāvam āsthāya prahlādaḥ puruṣottamam | muktvā cānyaṃ na jānāti tenāsau sādhur ucyate || 49.33 ||

اگرچہ وہ اسوری مزاج میں تھا، پھر بھی پرہلاد صرف پُروشوتم کو ہی پہچانتا ہے؛ سب کچھ چھوڑ کر وہ کسی اور کو نہیں جانتا۔ اسی لیے وہ نیک و صالح کہلاتا ہے۔
