वरदो देव सर्वास्वापत्स्वप्युद्धरस्व तम् । एवमुक्त्वा भवं ब्रह्मा पुनर्देवीं स चाब्रवीत् ॥ २८.४० ॥
varado deva sarvāsv āpatsv apy uddharasva tam | evam uktvā bhavaṃ brahmā punar devīṃ sa cābravīt || 28.40 ||
“اے عطا کرنے والے دیوتا، ہر طرح کی آفت میں بھی اسے بچا لیجیے۔” یہ کہہ کر برہما نے بھَو (شیو) سے کہا اور پھر دوبارہ دیوی سے مخاطب ہوا۔
