अनाचारादि हेतोश्च राक्षसत्वमुपागतः ॥ आत्मानं कथयामास विप्राग्रे स यथायथम् ॥

anācārādi hetoś ca rākṣasatvam upāgataḥ || ātmānaṃ kathayāmāsa viprāgre sa yathāyatham

بدکرداری وغیرہ جیسے اسباب کے باعث وہ راکشسیت کو پہنچا۔ برہمن کے روبرو اس نے اپنی سرگزشت کو جیسے جیسے پیش آیا تھا، اسی ترتیب سے بیان کیا۔
