महादाहेन सन्तप्तः शम्भुर्देवीमुवाच ह ॥ और्वस्य तु तपो दृष्ट्वा भीतैर्देवैरुदाहृतम्
mahādāhena santaptaḥ śambhur devīm uvāca ha || aurvasya tu tapo dṛṣṭvā bhītair devair udāhṛtam
شدید حرارت سے جھلس کر شَمبھو نے دیوی سے کہا۔ اور اوروَ کی تپسیا دیکھ کر خوف زدہ دیوتاؤں نے فریاد/عرضداشت پیش کی۔
